GET SOLAR LABELS
Shortly after starting at VE Signs/Get Solar Labels, I was tasked with re-branding Get Solar Labels.
This is their original logo. There’s a lot going on. Let’s change that!
THE LOGO
V1
This version was inspired by electrical boards, wiring, you know. Solar things. I changed the coloring to yellow and blue since I felt that evoked the sun and sky and electricity better than cyan and red.

Changed for readability, and made the squares more clearly into solar panels.

This one, I changed the solar panels to have a bit more character by adding a faux “reflection” to the left most panels.
FINAL
They wanted to go back to blue and red, but I toned it down to not be so… cyan and hyper bright red. Co-worker Jackie helped with this version by picking the font. There were about 10 different variations with just different fonts.
COLORS
I picked the colors based on them wanting blue and red, but I added yellow- for the sun! And because I wanted there to be yellow.
